The Call of the Cabbage Cabbage-ism is daring to follow where freedom leads
Cabbage-ism could be the natural connections that unfold as philosophy gives way to plumbing and plumbing to the history of tulips. It is the wisdom of the jester on steroids, humor from the paradox of unleashed, yet well-tended wonder.
In July of 1990, Rev. James A. Campbell and his family moved to Willow, Alaska, a bubbling caldron of Cabbage-ism and the home of the Spasm family who lives on Hatcher Pass. The Spasm family not only lives the purist form of Cabbage-ism, they give it form and story. Spasmocity is cabbage-ism distilled into poetry, into dance. This book of cabbage-ism is an account of, and tribute to, the Spasm family of Willow as they follow the cabbage. It is the Gospel of the Cabbage.
